Pete started as an internet business back in 1999.

I went through some retraining on a computer course during a prolonged period of unemployment. I found a tutor that latched onto my love of vinyl and snapping up bargains at car boot sales. After a lot of heavy backside kicking she talked me into launching my online business and before long I was selling Vinyl and CD's worldwide.
The business built year on year until around the end of 2006 when I started to see a lot more people selling online with hobby businesses. My wife Hannah came up with a wonderful idea of trying the retail market when our eldest son James couldn't find any work experience.
Into the local flea market we went and saw a wonderful response from a public starved of the the disappearing record shop. Once James had finished his work experience we decided to carry on selling in the flea market alongside our internet business.
Things built steadily and we put our name down for the next available unit at the permanent pannier market.
We opened our first retail shop in October 2008. A small shop it may have been but we packed plenty of stock in there somehow and customers too!
In January 2012 we took the bold and scary step of taking on one of the largest units in the market. Thankfully it has turned out to be a very good decision and we made great use of the extra space!

Then in March 2020 we took an even bolder step and moved our business just outside the market into our first stand alone shop in Tinner's Court, Truro.
Unfortunately we opened just as the corona virus turned everything upside down and within days we had to close the doors along with every other non essential retail outlet.

We absolutely can't wait to get going again when it is safe to do so of course.
